Just a quick post on this excellent interview by Lilou Mace with Californian Tao Practitioner Sarina Stone.
I think the push for everyone to get a Tao teacher is a little biased – there are other paths – but because we speak so little of this kind of thing within our families and community there is a lot of potential for broad education.
When I look at my children I see them speak amongst their friends of dating, jokes about porn and the very scientific biology lessons they receive at school but its up to me, the parent, to fill them in on all the rest. If a child has a busy overworked parent, those lessons will never happen and a lot of the time the parent doesn’t know that stuff either. I certainly didn’t until I searched for it just over the past few years.
We can’t round everyone up and tell them they have to learn this material. Each must find their own curiosity about it and become enlightened in their own time.

- Says when she is eating only “live” (raw) vegetarian food and uses her daily Tao practices she only needs about 4 hours of sleep a night
- Sex from the heart is at a completely different level from the simple physical act
